En voiture avec Tintin
From 5 April to 11 November 2025, the Musée National de l’Automobile – Collection Schlumpf in Mulhouse is offering a unique immersion into the automotive world of Tintin through a brand-new exhibition devoted to the cars emblematic of the adventures of the famous reporter created by Hergé.
The exhibition is packed with images, objects (miniature cars and life-size cars) and documents (drawings, sketches) relating to the life and work of Hergé.
You’ll be able to admire many of the cars featured in Tintin’s adventures, alongside their authentic models.
From the legendary Bugatti 35 in Tintin in America to the Dupondt’s famous 2CV in The Calculus Affair, each vehicle tells a unique story of technological daring and timeless elegance.
A three-dimensional replica of the famous red-and-white chequered rocket, over six metres high, will sit majestically in the gardens of the Musée de l’Automobile.
The “En voiture avec Tintin (Driving with Tintin) exhibition will be full of discoveries for lovers of fine mechanical engineering and Tintinophiles alike.
